Dr. Tran Le, MD, DABOM, is a board-certified obesity medicine physician with additional board certifications in addiction medicine and occupational medicine. She has completed fellowship training in addiction medicine where she gained expertise in treating disorders with complex interactions among neurobiology, genetics, the environment, and an individual’s life experiences, similar to that of the disease of obesity. This unique training background allows her to treat the disease of obesity in a non-judgmental, patient-centered approach.
Dr. Le realized early in her career that she did not want to be lost in the impersonal world of corporate medicine. Rushing through dozens of patients everyday on a profit-driven hospital administrator's schedule instead of giving the focused, individualized attention that each patient deserved made her begin searching for something better. When she discovered concierge medicine, Dr. Le knew this would be the best way for her to truly connect with her patients. By limiting her practice to 300 patients (instead of the national average of over 2,000 for a single doctor), Dr. Le can offer the personal, thoughtful, and most importantly, effective care that her patients deserve.
As a native Texan, Dr. Le is proud to make individualized weight loss care accessible to Texans of all ages and body types throughout the state. Dr. Le also has a special place in her heart for Utah, where she has spent multiple years treating members of the local population with substance use disorders.
